ወጋገን ባንክ በቱርክ፣ ኢስታምቡል ከተማ የሴት ኃላፊዎችን ክህሎት እና ብቃት ለማጎልበት ያለመ ስልጠና አዘጋጀ

ወጋገን ባንክ ለሰላሳ ስምንት የሴት ኃላፊዎች “የሴቶች የስራ አመራር (Women Leadership)” በሚል ርዕስ የአምስት ቀን ስልጠና በቱርክ፣ ኢስታምቡል ከተማ አዘጋጀ፡፡ ባንኩ ከInfinite Icon Technology ድርጅት ጋር በመተባበር ለመጀመሪያ ዙር 19 ሴት ሰልጣኞች ከግንቦት 26 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ ስልጠናው እየተሰጠ ይገኛል፡፡
የባንኩን ስትራቴጂካዊ እቅድ ከማሳካት አንፃር የሴቶች ተሳትፎ በዋነኝነት በኃላፊነት ላይ የሚገኙ ሴቶች ሚና ጉልህ ድርሻ ያለው በመሆኑ እና በቀጣይም ሴቶችን ወደ ከፍተኛ አመራርነት ለማብቃት ያለመ ስልጠና ሲሆን ባንኩ ያስቀመጠው የአካባቢ፣ ማህበረሰባዊ እና አስተዳደራዊ (ESG) ፖሊሲ ትግበራ አንድ አካል ነው፡፡ በተያያዘም ባንኩ በተሰማራበት የፋይናንስ ሴክተር ዘመኑን የዋጀ የአካባቢ፣ ማህበረሰባዊ እና አስተዳደራዊ (ESG) ፖሊሲ በመንደፍ መጠነ ሰፊ ስራዎችን እየሰራ ይገኛል፡፡
Wegagen Bank has organized a five-day training session on “Women Leadership” in Istanbul, Turkey, for thirty-eight women who are working under various managerial positions. The training has been organized by the Bank in collaboration with Infinite Icon Technology, and the first round of 19 women participants are attending the training which commenced on June 03, 2024.
The Bank has taken the initiative to organize the training with due consideration of the imperative role of women employees, especially those in managerial positions, towards the realization of its strategic objectives. The training also aims to empower women to advance to higher managerial positions.
The training has been organized in tandem with the ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) Policy of the Bank. As prominent player in the Ethiopian financial sector, the Bank is actively engaged in disposing its environmental, social and governance obligations in a responsible manner in line with its ESG Policy.
